Edalina Sanches, postdoctoral researcher at the University of Portugal, Lisbon, will summarise case-studies of party institutionalisation in Cape Verde, Zambia and Mozambique that are included in her forthcoming book during an afternoon seminar from 3-5pm on March 29.
Recently, some users have had trouble accessing Vula via the UCT wireless network. This issue does not affect those connecting via a network cable.
ICTS engineers will troubleshoot the issue tomorrow (Saturday, 24 March 2018) from 5:00 a.m. until 9.00 a.m. The work will be done via a phased approach, meaning that our engineers will work on different parts of campus at different times. This will ensure that the whole campus is not impacted for the entire work period.
As a result, you may experience intermittent connectivity on the eduroam and UCT Guest wireless networks.
ICTS provides metadata and information architecture services to the UCT community, helping departments to map their content, test website usability, and assist in transforming information between different mediums.
You are warmly invited to our next TET Talk on 27 March 2018, 12:45 – 13:45 in Frances Ames. The faculty Teaching & Educating with Technology (TET) Talks are lunchtime sessions with short narratives and presentations about “ideas worth sharing”. This initiative gives educators, such as yourself, an opportunity to ask questions, share ideas and find out what others are doing.
